Formed in 2003, Page County Department of Fire-EMS is presently staffed with 24 full-time and part-time employees. Currently, the County operates three volunteer rescue stations: Luray Volunteer Rescue Squad, Shenandoah Volunteer Rescue Squad, and Stanley Volunteer Rescue Squad. The hours of operation varies at each station. In addition, the Department provides Emergency Medical Services and Fire Response training for the six volunteer fire departments and rescue stations in the County.
