Proposed Budget  - FY 2021 - 2022 and Tax Levies for Calendar Year 2021

Please take notice: the Board of Supervisors of the County of Page, Virginia shall hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room located in the County Government Center, 103 South Court Street, 2nd Floor, Luray, Virginia 22835, for the purpose of receiving public comments and to consider the proposed budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 and the tax levies for calendar year 2021. The proposed budget will not be approved, adopted, or ratified by the Board of Supervisors until at least seven days following this public hearing.

All levies are per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation at fair market value.

The public is invited to attend this public hearing to express their views thereon. Comments may be presented either in person to the Board at its public hearing or submitted prior to the meeting via the public hearing and comment form on the county website at www.pagecounty.virginia.gov by 3:00 p.m. the day of the meeting.

The Notice is given pursuant to §§ 15.2-2503, 15.2-2506, 58.1-3007, and 22.1-93 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended.

Ordinance to Amend Chapter 105 (Taxation), Article XI (Business and Professional Occupation License Tax), Section 105-50 (License Requirements) of the County Code

Please take notice: that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Page, Virginia shall hold a public hearing on April 20, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., at 103 South Court Street, Luray, Virginia 22835, for the purpose of a public hearing on the proposed ordinance to amend Chapter 105 (Taxation), Article XI (Business and Professional Occupation License Tax), Section 105-50 (License Requirements) of the Page County Code.

The full text of the proposed amendments to the Ordinance may be reviewed and inspected at the office of the County Administrator, 103 South Court Street, Suite F, Luray, Virginia 22835.

The public is invited to attend this public hearing to express their views thereon.

The Notice is given pursuant to § 15.2-1427 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended.

Proposed Ordinance

Budget Amendment 

On April 20, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., the Page County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing at the County Government Center, 103 South Court Street, Luray, VA 22835, for the purpose of considering an amendment to the fiscal year 2021 budget. The aggregate amount of the amendments exceeds one percent of the fiscal year 2021 budget and the public hearing is required by Section 15.2-2507 of the Code of Virginia.
